‘Bee Creative’ is a community based project that seeks to promote creativity as part of Creative Beeston. Our aim is to use recycled and donated materials wherever we can. The team of creatives that deliver the workshops are experienced and patient and offer a range of skills so they can bring you a variety of new things to learn.
The merits of art and crafts on mental well-being have been studied and the work of the ‘Mental Health Foundation’ found substantial evidence that patients who are suffering with depression or anxiety found creative pursuits more successful in helping their symptoms than medical alternatives.
