Monday 4th November

Middle Street Community Centre

7:00pm – 8:30pm

This Monday we return to paper crafts and Claire will be leading a session on paper flower making. There will be a variety of shapes and sizes so you can make yourself a little collection to add to a festive wreath later in the year if you wish.

THOSE OF YOU THAT WOULD LIKE TO CONTINUE WITH YOUR QUILT SQUARE WILL BE ABLE TO DO THIS TOO 🙂

Sessions are free but if you can make a donation then please drop one in the small blue tin as you leave. No donation is too small and will be used to fund the Bee Creative sessions and support the valuable services that Middle Street provide for our community.

Please indicate your intention to attend on the event page. 12 SPACES AVAILABLE on a first come first served basis. There will be a SIGN-IN SHEET AT RECEPTION specifically for BEE CREATIVE. Apologies if you do not manage to get a space this week.

‘Bee Creative’ is a community based project that seeks to promote creativity as part of Creative Beeston. Our aim is to use recycled and donated materials wherever we can. The team of creatives that deliver the workshops are experienced and patient and offer a range of skills so they can bring you a variety of new things to learn.

The merits of art and crafts on mental well-being have been studied and the work of the ‘Mental Health Foundation’ found substantial evidence that patients who are suffering with depression or anxiety found creative pursuits more successful in helping their symptoms than medical alternatives.
