During the January lockdown the community a number of group members made bunting pieces to decorate the Beeston Farmer’s Market and replace the garish (but necessary) hazard tape that channeled customers the right way around the market.

The eclectic selection of fabrics made a striking difference to the feel of the market and was appreciated by the traders as well as the market organiser herself. All stitched together by Julie, who expertly mixed the patterns and shades to combine the work of many into one set of beautiful bunting! Adaptable to suit the market’s needs, we think it adds a certain charm to this lovely artisan market.

A huge thanks to everyone who contributed!
